Germs can get into the body through the mouth by ingesting contaminated food, through open cuts, eyes, and genitals. Once germs infect the body they interfere with the normal functioning of the bodily system. Germs breed quickly and in a short time, it will start disrupting the body functions by producing toxins. This disease is primarily associated with poor hygiene and is more common in homes with poor sanitation. The dirty environment will harbor flies that will transmit the germ from dirty toilets and latrines. It is caused by a bacteria known as Salmonella typhi. The disease is deadly in treatment is not initiated early. Symptoms include High-temperature loss of appetite, headache, stomach pain and usually some weakness.

Tetanus. This is a dangerous disease caused by the toxin produced by a germ Clostridium tetani. This germ can be in human and animal feces. It can get into the soil and onto other objects on the ground if feces are left lying around. A person can get the disease when the germ gets into the body through a cut or another kind of break in the skin which comes into contact with an object such as a rusty nail, soil, or human feces, which is contaminated with the germ.

Dengue fever. Dengue fever is a highly dangerous disease. It has claimed thousands of lives worldwide. So far, up to date, there is no specific medication to treat the fever. Once contracted the disease, the patient needs to be monitored closely for high fever, dehydration, and internal bleeding. Failure to administer the condition properly could expose the patient to high risk including death. Dengue fever is transmitted by the Aedes Mosquitoes. A dirty environment is breeding sites for mosquitoes and this increases the risk of contracting the disease.

Hepatitis A. This disease is caused by a virus germ. The disease range from mild illness to a very serious illness. It causes fever, nausea and stomach cramps and sometimes death.. The germ which causes hepatitis A is commonly found in the feces of people who are already infected.
